Ferrari Lake Forest reacquired this 512 BBi from Richard Dick Fritz who federalized a majority of the imported Boxers to the US through Amerispec The Federalization process included changes to the engine, instrumentation, lighting, seatbelts, and crash reinforcements. In total the process involved over 75 different changes. The 512 BBi came equiped with a 5 Liter Boxer 12 Cylinder Engine making a stout 340 Hp at 6,000 RPM. Weighing in at only 3,483lbs 0 to 62mph took only 5.4 seconds! The BBi is the updated model from the BB which introduced the Bosch K-Jetronic CIS fuel injection as well as different camshaft timing managed by Magneti Marelli Dinoplex electronic ingition system.
