Description
2011 Honda CR-V. Currently our daily driver and is set up as a towed vehicle behind our motor home. It can also be used as your daily driver. Non-smoker. Runs fantastic. FWD. Michelin tires (good tread). New front control arms and struts all around. Sunroof. Leather interior (gray), great condition. Heated seats. Power windows. Sunroof. Note - it has a re-built title from a hail storm we had last summer. Some minor dents. Actually, because of the light paint color, unless you really look closely, you might not even notice the hail damage. Our insurance company though totaled the vehicle and we bought it back from them. We had it inspected by the state of Michigan on account of the salvage title given by the insurance company. No parts of any kind we replaced and no mechanical damage resulted from the hail storm. Cosmetic damage only. I have used full synthetic motor oil since we have owned the vehicle and have had the transmission serviced. Actual transmission and not a CVT. Transmission has given us no problems and as I mentioned earlier, it's still our daily driver. Additional, this was the last model year of the Honda CR-V to use a timing chain versus a timing belt. Meaning the timing chain is typically good for the life of the engine. No expensive maintenance costs to have a timing belt replaced (typically around $1000 every 100,000 miles). A very well maintained and reliable vehicle. Includes an aluminum NSA Ready Brute Elite tow bar ($3000 value new) and CR-V mounted base plate. Set up for and ready for towing. This towbar has a built in cable activated towed vehicle braking system. Meaning it uses the towed vehicles brakes. Does not require any other devices that other towbars use that are sometimes cumbersome and time consuming to install and breakdown every time you use the towed vehicle. This towbar system is very easy to set and up and use. We currently have the Honda CR-V for sale on account that our motorhome's roof was destroyed and I don't think we're going to have it repaired. If you're looking for a reliable vehicle, this could be the one. Please email or call as texts will go unanswered.
